+ Met up with my friend Shannon, whom I worked with at the Mouse House a few years back. We took to the trails of Fremont Older Open Space Preserve (dog-friendly) and had a lovely hike. We celebrated our exercise by consuming pastries from Voyageur du Temps.
+ Had some great chats with Shannon about careers, job hunting and life. I think the last time I spent that much time with her, we were both sitting under the fluorescent lights and colorful walls of Uncle Walt’s House. It was nice to hang out in our more natural habitat. I miss seeing her on a regular basis, though.
+ She and Rowlf got along so well that they took selfies together.
